How accurate is the robot?

You can expect an accuracy of 2-3 cm. This can, however, vary from country to country. In open motorway environments, the accuracy might be even better.

How long does the battery last?

With a fully charged battery, you can expect the robot to work continuously for at least eight hours.

How autonomously does the robot work?

As soon as you have entered the data and switched to autonomous mode, the robot will work by itself. The light on the robot will blink blue when the job is finished.

Are there any extra components that I need to buy?

The TinyPreMarker is supplied with precision GPS, battery and remote control. You will need to pay an annual subscription to RTK correction signals, and you will need a SIM card to insert into the robot.

Will there be additional yearly costs?

A correction signal is needed (NTRIP RTK) to achieve the high accuracy. The robot requires a mobile network card (SIM card) which requires payment of an annual fee. The annual RTK fee and SIM card fee vary from country to country.

What happens if my robot stops working?

Our technicians can access any robot around the world remotely via SIM card. If the problem is software related, the robot will normally be repaired and operational within minutes.

The robot requires a SIM card for remote diagnostics and support.

Spray System

What type of paint can be used?

The TinyPreMarker uses the aerosol spray that you already use. The TinyPreMarker can use different can sizes, ranging from 400 ml to 750 ml. You can use any type of paint and any colour.

Will my aerosol spray can fit?

The robot can work with most standard aerosol spray cans.

Remote Control

How do I control the robot?

You can control the robot using the included tablet. The tablet solution has a very user-friendly interface which allows you to send jobs directly from your USB key to the robot. You can also adjust the robot settings and control the robot manually via the tablet. You can use wi-fi or bluetooth to connect the tablet to the robot.

For long range control, you can also use a remote control which gives a range of up to 500 m / 547 yd.

How far can the remote control reach?

The tablet can reach up to 100 m / 109 yd and the remote control can reach up to 500 m / 547 yd, depending on the environment.

Data Input

How do I programme the robot?

You do not programme the robot. Instead, you insert a data file containing points or lines into the robot.

Which data formats are supported?

The robot supports commonly used data formats, including GEO, DXF, CSV and LANDXML files.
